Code of Conduct

SUMMER TOURS S.A.S., in compliance with the provisions of Law 1336 and Resolution 3840 of 2009, assumes the following commitments:

  1. Refrain from offering, in tourism promotion programs and travel plans, either explicitly or covertly, any plans involving the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  2. Refrain from providing tourists, either directly or through intermediaries, with information about locations where commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is coordinated or takes place.
  3. Refrain from directing tourists, either directly or through third parties, to establishments or locations where commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents occurs, as well as from taking children to the places where tourists are staying, including offshore locations, for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  4. Refrain from providing vehicles on tourist routes for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse of children and adolescents.
  5. Prevent the entry of children and adolescents into hotels or lodging establishments, bars, similar businesses, and other establishments providing tourist services, for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
  6. Adopt measures to prevent any personnel associated with the company in any capacity from offering tourism services that facilitate sexual activity with children and adolescents.
  7. Protect both national and foreign children and adolescents from all forms of sexual exploitation and violence perpetrated by national or foreign tourists.
  8. Report to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism and other competent authorities any incidents or suspicions, regardless of how they came to your attention, related to the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, and ensure that the company has internal channels to report such incidents to the appropriate authorities.
  9. Design and disseminate within the company and among its goods and services suppliers a policy in which the provider establishes measures to prevent and counteract all forms of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in travel and tourism.
  10. Train all current and future personnel, as well as suppliers who, due to the nature of their activities, have contact with tourists, on the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  11. Inform users about the legal consequences in Colombia of the sexual exploitation and abuse of children and adolescents.
  12. Post this Code of Conduct and any other commitments the provider wishes to assume to protect children and adolescents in a public and visible place within the establishment or establishments.
